Ilia Perelstein is famous pianist and composer, based in Israel and active on a local jazz scene. Born in 1973 in Kazan (Russia).
Began to play piano at the age of 7. In 1990 emigrated to Israel.
In 1991-1994 studied at the Rubin Academy Of Music And Dance Jerusalim,under direction of Slava Ganelin and Boris Gammer .
In 1995 played at "Festival Of Israel, Jazz Blues and Video Tapes" Tel - Aviv,
Recorded several CD's with Robert Anchipolovsky, Jacov Meiman and Michael Blum trio.
Ilya perelshtein and his trio has participated at Jazz-Tel Aviv
Fevstival, at February 2007.
Ilya's trio includes Vini Venkov fame on duble bass, on drums Gidon Peisahov, the special guest of the festival - Robert Anchipolovsky
Currently works as pianist with different groups and teaches for jazz and classical piano.
